Other clubs

Castle Pines village has two book clubs:
Popcorn & Pages, and the Village Bookworms.

The Popcorn & Pages Book Club

The "Popcorn and Pages" Book Club has been in existence since 1991. Anyone who likes to read is welcome; we always like to have new members with new points of view. There are about twenty members, but 8 to 10 is the typical number at a meeting. We meet at 7:00 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month. We serve popcorn and drinks. We read mostly fiction with one or two nonfiction books mixed in each year. Each fall we meet to choose the books for the next year. We try to select books that are well written and have potential for a good discussion. We also choose books that vary in geographical location, time period, and subject matter. It's quite a casual group. We have no officers and pay no dues. If you want information about the next meeting, please call the discussion leader as noted below. Requests for the book list may be directed to Sue Cooper or 303 660-6924

Guests and new members are welcome. If you are interested in joining our group please call Maggie Eichenlaub at 303-771-7867 home, 303-483-2314 office, and 303-525-4744 cell for more information.  We encourage new faces!

The Village Book Worms is a local Castle Pines Village Book Club formed in February 2003. We are a diverse group of women with approximately 23 members on our Roster.

We take turns being hostess and meet the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00p.m. The Hostess provides a simple and sweet treat since we meet after the dinner hour.
We all participate in choosing our books. We research our recommendations and present them to the group and take a vote of the members present to determine what we will be reading. We always know the next two books we will be reading for those members that want to get a head start. We have decided to use this format, so that we have flexibility in choosing something that might be new.

Our interests include fiction and nonfiction alike. We anticipate incorporating
mysteries, classics and current novels into our repertoire.
