CPES Gate Attendants are probably the most well known faces of the department. They are responsible for admitting all guests and homeowners to the Village (during staffed hours), providing directions and maps to guests and service personnel, and providing a smiling face for our residents and guests to see on the way into our community.
Additionally, they are instrumental in aiding the patrol division by keeping a watchful eye on their surroundings and reporting any suspicious activity that they may see. A smile, wave, and a bit of friendly conversation are always welcomed on the way into our community, so don’t be afraid to stop and say hello!
Castle Pines Emergency Services (CPES) controls entry into Castle Pines Village through five access gates. Gates 1, 2, 3 and 4 are located off Happy Canyon Road. Gate 5 is accessed from Lagae Road, off Castle Pines Parkway.
Each gate has two designated entry lanes. Visitors and service personnel requiring clearance must use the left entrance lane. Residents and visitors with programmed stickers/passes should use the automated right entry lane.
Access to the Village is controlled by use of appropriate passes including:
- Homeowner sticker
- Proximity cards
- Vehicle transponders
- Contractor passes
- Employee passes
- Other designated passes
- Computerized database
