Castle Pines Garden Club Goals:
To contribute to and maintain the beauty of the Castle Pines area.  To become educated about Colorado native plants. To develop horticultural and floral design skills.

The Castle Pines Garden Club offers programs to enhance your Home, Hearth and Garden as well as an excellent opportunity to meet new friends.

Monthly meetings
will be held the second Friday of every month at 9:15 in the main dining room of Castle Pines Country Club (Unless otherwise noted,). Optional lunch following the meeting-membership to the country club is not necessary-credit cards only.  These are members only events.

Garden Club Awards:

The landscaping at the Castle Pines Xeriscape Educational Gardens office was awarded the 2001 Excellence in Landscape Award by the Associated Landscape Contractors of Colorado.
Congratulations to the Metropolitan District and Mountain Spirit Studios.

Garden Club Event:

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2008 9:15 AM at the CC of CP The program promises to be fantastic! “OLD ROSES” Presented by DAVID VANDE CASTEELE We will be learning about classification & varieties, plant & site selection, planting tips, the art of pruning, fertilization, pest & diseases and winterization of “Old Roses.” David is a wonderful speaker; adores “Old Roses” and is so excited to be coming to our garden club and sharing his knowledge with us. And, as always there will be several “Rose” related gifts raffled. $1 / ticket.  Please help us show our appreciation to the CC at CP by staying by Lunch. It’s a great way to meet new members of the Garden Club. Non-members may pay for their luncheon with credit card, cash or check.

April 14th – April 18th, 2008

VICTORIA SPRING GARDEN TOUR Visit some of the most beautiful gardens in the world. Stay at the Delta Victoria Ocean Pointe Resort.  Visit Butchart Gardens, Victoria Springs, Abkhaz, Beacon Hill Park, Glendale Gardens, Woodlands, Marley Farm Winery, Haley Park, Gardens at English Hill and a few private garden Thursday is set aside for a whale watching “eco-adventure” aboard the Prince of Whales Ocean Magic. There will be lectures and classes included. The price of $1175 includes 4 nights double occupancy, 4 breakfasts with lecture, 1 lunch, 2 dinners, transportation to and from gardens, garden admission, whale watching, taxes. (Upgrades and single occupancy available) Airfare on your own. $300 per person deposit to hold your reservation which is fully refundable if you cancel before March 1, 2008 More information will be available on December 14 luncheon. In the meantime only 20 reservations are available. We need to know if you are interested in going. (a great Christmas present suggestion!)
