Castle Pines
Village Emergency Services
What they will do:
The TOYS FOR TOTS Program in conjunction
with the US Marine Corp Reserve. A FOOD DRIVE in
conjunction with the Castle Rock Community Task Force. Both
programs will begin in November. Watch Cannel 22 and the Web
Site for details.
What they need:
New toys and canned goods dropped off at the
Village Fitness Center, Emergency Services and any gate.
How else you can help:
Castle Pines Village Realty has a year round
program benefiting the Women’s Crisis Center by collecting used
cell phones. The phones are re-tooled so the Crisis Center’s
clients can dial 911 if they are ever feeling threatened or at
risk. So far this year Castle Pines Village Realty has collected
more than 200 used phones. So, if you have
any old phones lying around your house, drop them off at the real estate
office and they will be put to a good use!

Douglas
County Partners
303-777-7000
www.metrodenverpartners.org
About Partners
Douglas County Partners, launched in the spring of 2001, is
dedicated to helping our youth reduce troublesome behavior and
improve self-esteem through one-on-one mentoring Partnerships.
How Partners Works
Boys and girls between the ages of 10-14 are referred to the
Douglas County Program from our schools, juvenile diversion, or
other human service agencies. These kids want to change and
voluntarily participate, with parental or guardian support.
Referred to as Junior Partners, the youth is matched with an
adult volunteer (Senior Partner) who supports, listens,
models good behavior, participates in joint activities, and
cares about them.
