The Parks & Recreation Committee consists of
seven volunteer residents who are appointed by the CPV Homes
Association Board and who act in an advisory capacity to the
Board.
Larry Bundy, Stacie Chadwick, Monica Flinner-Ross, Jim
Florey, Vic Pluto, Alan Schurr, and Chuck Skinner, Chairman.
In its
advisory capacity to the Board, the Committee develops and
recommends both capital and operating budgets to the Board
for recreational facilities such as trails, playgrounds,
parks, tennis courts, sports field(s), the Canyon Club and
the Village Lake Fitness Center.
The Committee is also responsible for both annual and
strategic plans for the development and maintenance of
recreational facilities within the Village. It is the
goal of the Committee to insure that all residents are well
represented, that all facilities are designed to
cost-effectively serve the diverse community of Castle Pines
Village, that those facilities are properly maintained and
safe

and that all facilities are designed to compliment the aesthetic appeal
of the architecture and natural settings of the Village. On
approval by the Board, the Committee works with management
in accomplishing the approved and budgeted annual and
strategic plans.
Committee Meeting Dates
The Committee meets the third Tuesday of each
month from 3 PM at the Homes Association office, 478 Happy
Canyon Rd. Castle Pines residents are welcome to attend.
